Family Tree Bears are individually crafted characters for the collector. Each has a story behind her or him, building into a family saga that begins in the early 19th century. Every bear comes with a biography, and a family tree showing that bear’s place in the clan. Research goes on into some of the more mysterious bears’ lives, and owners can expect to be regularly updated with documents through the post and with information on the website  Your Own Forebears Send me what you know about your own ancestor or family member and I’ll dress a bear to represent them. *** And a little newcomer – Dolly Bears. Originally knitted as dolls for the bears to play with,  now available on their own as good luck charms, toys or starter bears! Their bodies are knitted and their clothes a mixture of fabrics and knitting. You can request a colour, or send your own fabric for them to wear something special to you.
